a leading furniture importer/wholesaler in the UK that has grown to be one of the largest companies in the furniture sector.

Benefits for a Commercial Executive: Holidays: 24 days plus bank holidays Health Shield: Health Care Cash Plan (after 6 months of service) Birthday off as an additional holiday Purpose of the Commercial Executive role: Our client is looking for a Commercial Executive to assist the commercial team by carrying out varied tasks to support the department. The role will initially involve developing an understanding of the commercial department, our clients products, and the overall business by carrying out administrative tasks. Once the knowledge has been built there is then an opportunity to develop into managing a small portfolio of growing national accounts. Main duties and responsibilities of the Commercial Executive: Key Administration Tasks: Customer order and stock feed updates. Building customer or department presentations. Setting up promotional activity and following up with our buying and finance team. New customer onboarding. Support on an un-named national £million plus account. Pricing analysis vs competition. Merchandising updates (new imagery and new versions.) New product launches. Category reviews. Fluently understanding department performance reports. Processing of large bulk orders with supply chain and directly with our customers. Support on critical paths. Orderbook management. Management of price tweakers. Support with overstocked or discontinued products. Key Account Management Tasks: Actively lead and manage a portfolio of accounts. Build strong relationships with buyers on all accounts. Implement quarterly reviews and monthly check-ins with all accounts. Implement a structured approach with category reviews and gap analysis with all accounts. Reviewing accounts websites weekly to identify growth opportunities. Reviewing listings on all customer websites to ensure merchandising is of a high standard. Understand the performance and revenue from accounts. Experience/knowledge requirements for the Commercial Executive: Administration and organisational skills. Excellent communication skills. Strong negotiation skills. Ability to prioritise workload so that deadlines are met. Motivated by constant improvement. Excellent Microsoft programme skills; Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
