The Responsibilities of a Marketing Executive:
  • Email Marketing Mastery:
    • As the Marketing Executive, youâll be at the helm of the email campaigns. Your day-to-day tasks involve executing email marketing plan, ensuring timely communication, and fine-tuning campaigns for optimal impact.
    • Dive into the metricsâunderstand what drives email performance. Identify opportunities for improvement and additional campaigns. Whether itâs crafting compelling subject lines or optimising delivery times, your expertise will elevate our client's communication game.
  • Collaboration and Technical Agility:
    • Collaborate closely with Clients Developer and IT Teams. Together, youâll ensure seamless transational messaging. Implementing new communications? QA testing? Youâve got it covered.
    • HTML proficiency is your secret weapon. Crafting engaging emails that resonate with the audienceâwhether itâs a product launch, a special offer, or an event invitationâis where you shine.
  • Catalogue Creation Wizardry:
    • Own the leaflets and catalogue creation process, including the merchandising of the catalogue, QA-process, and the optimisation of the audience. From conceptualisation to production and distribution, youâll orchestrate the entire process. Think eye-catching layouts, compelling product descriptions, and seamless user experience.
    • Optimise the catalogueâs audience reach. Youâll ensure every detail aligns with our brand standards and resonates with the clientsâ customers.
  • Data-Driven Insights:
    • Work closely with the Analytics team. Dive into data and insights. Whatâs working? What needs tweaking? Your recommendations will drive content improvements.
    • Testing and optimisation are your allies. A/B tests, segmentation experimentsâthese are your playground. Uncover hidden gems and refine our marketing strategies.
  • Beyond Email and Print:
    • Contribute to our broader marketing strategy. Explore initiatives beyond email and print campaigns. Your insights and creativity will shape our brandâs trajectory.
Skills and Experience of a Marketing Executive:
  • Proficient in using HTML and CSS for e-mail marketing. (This is a crucial skill for the role)
  • Good analytically and problem-solving abilities, as well as commercial acumen.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • 2+ yearsâ experience in a similar role.
  • Adept in using Excel or similar spreadsheet applications.
  • Experienced in using email marketing platforms, such as Emarsys or MailChimp, ideally: Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • A passion for everything emails and content related.
  • An awareness of best practices, trends, and opportunities.
  • Basic photoshop skills would be advantageous.
  • Experience with SQL (or a desire to learn) is a definite advantage.
  • Ability to communicate complex problems in a clear and concise way.
  • Able to use web analytics software, specifically Google Analytics.
