Job Title: Senior Engineer- Electrical Engineering (Power) Salary: up to £48,000 per annum dependent upon experience
We currently have a vacancy to join one of the world’s leading, global defence, security and aerospace companies as a Senior Engineer- Electrical Engineering (Power). The role can be based in Bristol, Manchester or Barrow in Furness and offers the opportunity for hybrid working (this varies depending on the chosen site) and flexible working hours.
As part of the Electrical Verification Team, you will be involved in the verification and validation of the power system through compatibility testing of equipment and power system analysis. You'll be part of a wider multidisciplinary electrical team who's responsible for delivery a high integrity electrical power system. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.


Producing and maintaining electrical requirements
Assist the team in setup, execution and analysis of the test results
Provide technical guidance to ensure the testing is carried out in accordance with the requirements
Collaborating with multi-discipline teams, suppliers and stakeholders on matters related to the compatibility test facility

Degree qualified or equivalent experience in electrical or power engineering
Knowledge of compatibility testing of electrical equipment and power electronics

Project Management experience would be advantageous
You must be eligible to apply for SC clearance and, therefore, must hold a British passport and have lived and worked in the UK for the past 5 years
