The Role: The Requirements Engineer will be working in partnership with national government bodies and other global prime contractors, leading and supporting the management of requirements through the Systems Engineers lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Elicitation of Capability & User Requirements: The Senior Requirements Engineer will be responsible for gathering and documenting requirements from stakeholders, ensuring that they are clear, concise, and unambiguous.
- Generation and Ongoing Management of Systems Requirements: The Requirements Engineer will be responsible for creating and maintaining systems requirements, ensuring that they are aligned with the overall business strategy and objectives.
- Systems Testing and Acceptance: The Senior Requirements Engineer will be responsible for planning, executing, and documenting systems testing and acceptance activities, ensuring that the systems meet the required specifications.
- Stakeholder Management and Engagement: The Requirements Engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, ensuring that their requirements are understood and addressed.
- Experience of DOORS Software: The Senior Requirements Engineer will have experience using DOORS software to support the requirements management process.
- Experience Working Across Operating Domains: The Requirements Engineer will have experience working across operating domains, ideally MOD or Submarines (Defence).
- Full Systems Engineering Lifecycle: The Senior Requirements Engineer will have experience working through the full Systems Engineering lifecycle, from Concept to Delivery.
