Campden BRI’s Sensory testing services help create winning and quality products for the food & drink industry through their highly trained sensor panels, who evaluate products using a wide range of methods.
You will be supporting the Sensory Project Manager and the wider descriptive panel with projects and training.

Deputise for the Panel Leader with all practical and administrative aspects of running descriptive projects including panel facilitation/training sessions.
Become proficient in the use of Compusense sensory data collection software.
Prepare samples safely using good food hygiene practices for assessment by the Panel.
Co-ordinate sample receipt and organise purchase, storage and preparation of panel training and reference samples.
Support the panel Leader with compilation of technical reports including data analysis.
Supports other Sensory Insights teams/projects as required.

Degree in a Food Science/Technology or previous experience within a sensory science role and/or laboratory environment.
Completion of the 'One Day Introduction to Sensory Analysis' course and '4 Day Sensory Evaluation Workshop' or equivalents.
Broad knowledge of multiple food categories.
Proficient in Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
