RWC (Responsible Welding Coordinator) / Quality Manager - Structural Steelwork Fabrication
We are delighted to be recruiting an individual with experience in the steelwork fabrication sector to join a well-established and successful steelwork fabrication business in a Quality Inspection/Management / RWC (Responsible Welding Coordinator role) role. The successful candidate will support the Production Management team to manage and coordinate the company’s quality control processes within the fabrication workshop where they fabricate and weld up a variety of structural and secondary steel (columns, floor beams, rafters, stairs, platforms etc).
RWC / Quality Manager duties include:
* Carry out inspections of fabricated steelwork to ensure quality standards are met and adherence to company procedures are complied with. (welds, painting etc).
* Prepare PWPS’S for testing and approval.
* Ensuring welder coding’s are up to date as required.
* Participate in the training of new team members to ensure they understand processes and procedures.
RWC / Quality Manager requirements:
* Experience working in a RWC / Quality Manager / Quality Inspection type of role previously is essential.
* Experience of providing tech reviews of Execution class 3 and Execution class 4 projects.
* Experience working in the structural steelwork fabrication sector is highly advantageous.
* Be computer literate (Microsoft word, excel, email etc)
* Live in/within a commutable distance of Derbyshire/Notts (easily commutable from surrounding locations.
