As the Quality Engineer you will be based at the manufacturing site in Nottinghamshire where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality are maintained throughout the production processes. Reporting to the Quality Manager, your primary focus will include managing daily quality concerns, collaborating with suppliers and improving daily quality control.

* Supplier Quality Management: Collaborate with suppliers to establish and maintain quality standards, conduct supplier audits, and ensure adherence to specifications and requirements.

* Incoming Inspection: Develop and implement incoming inspection procedures to verify the quality of raw materials and components, ensuring they meet defined standards before production.

* Manage and maintain documentation control processes, including engineering drawings, specifications, procedures, and quality records, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant standards.

* Root Cause Analysis: Investigate quality issues and non-conformities, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address underlying problems and prevent recurrence.

* Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality assurance procedures, including inspection plans, test methods, and quality control processes, to ensure consistent product quality and reliability.

Proven experience in a quality engineering role within a manufacturing environment.

* Knowledge of quality management systems including ISO 9001.

* Experience with root cause analysis techniques and corrective action implementation.

This position will be working Monday to Friday on site in Nottingham, with a midday finish on a Friday. My client offers a very competitive salary package along with comprehensive benefits including healthcare, retirement plans, and clear opportunities for progression career development.
