The head of radiology physics provides leadership to large team of scientists and technologists responsible for the diagnostic radiology physics services to a number of hospitals in the East Midlands area including two large teaching hospitals and the busiest emergency department in the country. Supporting the extensive research and development activities of the Trust and external customers and initiate, manage and participate in R& D projects within the section.


Delivering teaching and training to medical physics and other clinical staff.
With over 20,000 staff, we are one of the biggest employers in the city with a central role in supporting the health and wellbeing of our local population. We play a leading role in research, education and innovation regionally and nationally.


We support a wide range of tertiary services and state of the art equipment including high end CT, interventional radiology and cardiology systems. The post holder will have the opportunity to provide and develop services which are a beacon within the profession regionally and nationally.
