Description
The Head of Client Value Proposition (HOCVP) will collaborate with the UK MD to enhance and execute Progeny’s client strategy, harnessing true growth potential. With deep technical understanding of the business proposition and broad awareness of client and business audiences, you will develop aspiring, evolutionary, and scalable propositions to support Progeny’s commercial ambitions.
Laser-focused on client experience, you will encourage new working relationships and synergies across Progeny to establish greater transparency and awareness, ensuring we deliver excellent client outcomes. Your work will inspire great propositional and service line awareness throughout Progeny, demonstrating the true impact of the business model, and putting the client at the heart of the business.
With a great capacity to influence, you will create internal momentum for client strategy by supporting discussions, meetings, and conversations to frame new strategic questions, creating shared understanding, and aiding business development. Working with senior stakeholders, clients, and third-party experts you will identify new opportunities and define Progeny’s future propositions.
Challenging the status quo and archetypes of the industry, you will encourage Progeny to be forward-thinking and, ultimately, shape the way the business delivers to and serves its clients now and in the future.
Key Responsibilities
Use industry, business, and client insights to ensure a deep understanding of the wants and needs of the client, alongside a commercial lens to ensure this is supportive of business sustainability and in line with growth plans.
Work closely with Marketing & Communications to ensure the proposition is in line with our brand and target audiences, and that this is delivered and translated correctly, to drive future sales and brand awareness.
Agree the proposition strategy, charging structures and associated documentation for the Progeny client service proposition focussed on delivering the best client service and driving commercial profitability.
Own, update, and consistently review all aspects of proposition development, materials, and positioning; ensuring all propositional developments are aligned with the regulator and the business's overall appetite for risk.
Provide proposition expertise, leadership, and advocacy across the business on key strategic business projects, ensuring this actively aligns with the overall business proposition and the voice of the client is reflected.
Own the proposition development plan and delivery roadmap to ensure all propositional developments are managed and successfully rolled out.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Proven track record of leading on proposition strategic development, preferably in financial services.
Strong commercial and Marketing background, with an understanding of Compliance and Risk (Marketing qualification desirable).
Exceptional leadership skills with substantial experience of working with senior stakeholders.
Forward-thinking, with an improvement mindset; with a track record of driving the enhancement of client experience and journeys.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with great ability to build relationships with people across the business, at various levels and work in close partnership, encouraging collaboration.
Comprehensive understanding of Consumer Duty (desired).
