Product and Proposition Development Specialist

Job OverviewThe Energy Supply division of ENGIE is responsible for providing energy supply, power purchase, and demand side response (DSR) as part of delivering the transition to Zero Carbon for our customers across the UK. We work with a wide range of customers from various sectors, including SMEs, manufacturing, industry, corporate, commercial, water, retail, and transport.
Key Responsibilities- Support the product development roadmap, ensuring plans are well-defined and communicated, and measurable.
- Develop and deliver propositions that drive growth within ENGIE and are aligned with division, UK, and group ambitions.
- Create customer-focused propositions utilizing customer insight and customer experience indicators to support development.
- Demonstrate tangible results in terms of product adoption by customers.
- Develop full life-cycle product management.
- Drive innovation and deliver new product/service offerings to the UK market.
- Contribute to the design and delivery of product initiatives to agreed timescales and budgets, keeping key stakeholders aware of progress and highlighting matters for resolution as appropriate.
- Decide target markets for relevant products through analytics, segmentation, and insights.
- Liaise internally to ensure products are developed, governed, launched, sold, and managed effectively.
- Work with the Head of Product Development, Senior Product Developer, CCO, and CSO to review product development strategy, including the assessment of disruptive threats/opportunities.
- Have commercial awareness of market dynamics, market evolution, and the competitive landscape.
- Develop product strategies from conception to implementation, aligned with customer needs.
