This is an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join the property and construction industry in North Yorkshire. The role involves managing costs effectively within the construction department while ensuring high standards of quality and compliance.
The company is a well-established organisation within the property and construction industry, known for its strong presence in the sector.
Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and partners.
Process subcontractor orders, payments, variations, and reports.
Prepare tenders and procure materials in line with company procedures.
Monitor cost movements and produce accurate financial reports.
Attend site and project meetings, ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards.
Maintain systems and databases (COINS, Excel) and support commercial functions on-site.A successful Quantity Surveyor (QS) should have:
Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
Strong knowledge of construction processes and cost management.
Experience in the property industry, particularly within the construction department.
Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for cost estimation and reporting.
Competitive salary of £45,000 to £50,000 per annum.
