Your Role:

As the VP, Sales - EMEA, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our sales strategy across the region. You will be responsible for leading a high-performing sales team, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a seasoned sales leader with a deep understanding of the MarTech/CDP industry, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the EMEA region aligned with the company's overall objectives.
    • Provide visionary leadership to the sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
    • Experience running 7 figure complex pursuits.
    • Strong MarTech and hypergrowth experience.
  • Team Management:
    • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team to achieve individual and collective targets.
    • Establish clear performance metrics and goals, regularly assessing and optimizing the team's performance.
    • Must have experience managing a large geographically dispersed team.
  • Client Engagement:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
    • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and market segments to drive revenue growth.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Sales Operations:
    • Oversee the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Utilize data and analytics to make informed decisions and continuously optimize sales processes.
  • Reporting and Forecasting:
    • Provide regular and accurate sales forecasts, performance reports, and insights to the executive leadership team.
    • Collaborate with finance and operations to ensure alignment between sales targets and resource allocation.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a successful sales leader in the MarTech industry, with a focus on EMEA markets.
  • Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse sales team.
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing technology trends, solutions, and customer pain points.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
