Key Account Manager Permanent Salary

between £30K to £35K Birmingham B37 Hours

Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm Key Account Manager / Account management / Upselling / Packaging / Birmingham / B37 The Recruitment Group is proud to be working with an industry leading company who create, design and make packaging innovations. The successful candidate will be reporting into the Sales & Business Development Director, the Customer Account Manager will be responsible for proactively managing the relationships for our in-house accounts. This position will analyse our current in-house accounts and look to upsell our sales volumes and margin measurements where possible. Benefits of the Key Account Manager:

Death in Service x 2 Main duties and responsibilities of the Key Account Manager:

Build relationships and extend contacts with Key Customers.

Improve margin and organic growth with existing customers through a proactive sales/service relationship and a developed awareness of the customers needs.

Implement Supply Chain Management initiatives to enhance margins and control of accounts.

Achieve agreed planned sales, added value, stockholding and payment targets to maximise results with each customer.

Ensure the customers needs are communicated to Sales administration, Operations, the Quality Team and the Management Team.

Ensure customers operate in accordance with agreed contractual terms and negotiate terms where they do not exist or can be improved.

Develop and maintain a professional customer relationship to improve the flow of communication, understanding and increase loyalty to the business.

To engage directly with all interfacing elements of our customers, either face to face or via the phone at every opportunity. Experience/knowledge requirements for the Key Account Manager:

Previous Internal Sales Experience within the Packaging or Printing Industry.

Experience managing a large volume of accounts.

Comfortable analysing sales data.

Knowledge of corrugated packaging

High level of ability and experience in planning, preparation, and presentation
