Brook Street Recruitment is working with our client in Moira, Craigavon for an Events Executive for a 12-month Maternity cover.

This role requires an experienced, proactive, and passionate individual who can oversee the development, production, and delivery of events from proposal to execution.

The role will involve working across the events and publications business and duties will include:

  • Planning of all events including managing operations on-the-day
  • Speaker liaison including organising travel and accommodation
  • Exhibition sales and bookings for events
  • Managing relationships with event sponsors and other commercial partners
  • Designing and executing marketing campaigns for events and publications including all digital marketing
  • Maintaining/researching and updating company databases and contact lists
  • Supporting editorial staff in researching, fact-checking and proof-reading content for publications

Criteria:

  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills
  • It is preferable that the applicants would have at least one year's experience assisting with event organisation
  • Be well organised with a professional and engaging manner
  • Have experience working to deadlines
  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Have the ability to work on their own initiative
  • Self-motivation and a positive work ethic are essential
  • Access to own transport is required for this position

Events/conference attendance will be required, which will include overnight stays, along with early morning starts and late evenings.

Hybrid working will be 4 days office, 1-day WFH (after training) and dependent on business needs.

Salary scale - £26-30k dependent on experience - start date ASAP.
