Unit Event Services Lead - North (Greater Manchester)

Volunteering is a fantastic way to enhance your CV, meet new people, and learn lifesaving skills.

No one should die because they needed first aid and didn’t get it. St John Ambulance teaches people first aid so they can be the difference between life and death, and you can help us do this.

We are seeking an enthusiastic volunteer officer to organise first aid duties for the North and East Manchester Unit. The role holder will liaise with external event organisers and co-ordinate the resourcing and deployment of frontline personnel. In addition, the successful candidate will co-ordinate unit participation for emergency response in Greater Manchester and out-of-district mutual aid requests.

Good communication and computer skills are essential for this role and the candidate should be trained as an Operational First Aider or have previous experience.
