Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Emergency Medicine Unit Manager. This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Emergency Medicine Unit team to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, reduce wait times, and enhance the overall patient experience.
  • Collaborate with the wider clinical team, including the PANDA Unit and SDEC, to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Support safer staffing duties for the Emergency Village and ensure that all staff are adequately trained and equipped to meet the needs of patients.
  • Work closely with the 2 existing Unit Managers, Lead Nurse, and Assistant Director of Nursing to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a leadership or management role within a healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare operations and management principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality patient care and services.
