Job Title: Acute Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Acute Medicine Specialist to join our team at North Manchester General Hospital. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing senior medical support to our 53 Medical Assessment Units bed split across 2 wards and our Ambulatory Care Unit.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in Acute Medicine
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and outcomes
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Contribute to the development of clinical policies and guidelines

Requirements:
  • Full registration with the GMC with a Licence to practice
  • On the Specialist Register, holding CCT or expect to do within 6 months of interview
  • MRCP or equivalent training and experience
  • Higher degree (e.g., MD) desirable
