Job Title: Acute Medicine Specialist Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Acute Medicine Specialist Nurse to join our team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role

The successful candidate will play a key role in the Acute Oncology Team, providing specialist care to oncology patients and working closely with other clinical colleagues to ensure quality of care.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide early input of specialist care to oncology patients
  • Work alongside other clinical colleagues to ensure quality of care
  • Cross cover and work between the Oxford Road Campus and North Manchester General Hospital sites
Person Specification
  • Registered Nurse
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • Experience in teaching and assessing
  • Recognised Counselling qualification
  • Non Medical prescribing
  • Clinical examination/diagnostic module
  • Advanced communication skills
  • Post registration qualification in oncology nursing
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £46,148 to £52,809 a year (pro rata) and a supportive working environment.
