SHG operates over 58 venues and with presence in 17 countries with a commitment to deliver authentic & diverse hospitality experiences that bring people together, all around the world.
We are looking for a Director of Operations for Morocco with experience in fine dining restaurants who will direct and oversee the organization operational activities in our current and future projects in the area. The role will be based preferebly in Rabat and will travel when needed across the region.
Maintain and provide strength to company’s brand position in assigned regional marketing area.
Collaborate with executive-level management in the development of performance goals and long term brand operational plans
Work with Top Management in the development of financial and budgetary plans
Analyze current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement when necessary
Uphold organization policies and standards, ensuring legislative regulations are followed
Establishes operations standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety and complete on-time delivery of a quality food product.
Builds, develops and manages an operations team capable of carrying out needed operations and unit growth strategies in addition improving employee and guest relations.
Ensure consistent food preparation and the highest caliber of food presentation.
Provide input for menus-- creating, developing, and recommending recipes for the use of other staff—to create a consistent and quality food product.
Actively coaches the team and promotes their professional development internally and through coordinated education programs
Perform yearly managers performance appraisal and follow up on staff appraisals
Develop marketing plan in cooperation with Marketing Manager to promote operations business and ensure implementation.
BA degree in Business Administration, or Hospitality Degree from a reputable university, or equivalent.
~7-10 years of experience in the field of hospitality in management level
~ Experience in fine dining restaurants at international level
~ Availability to preferably be based in Rabat and willing to travel frequently as needed between our outlets in Morocco
~ Fluent in English and French (arabic is a plus)
~ Experience with budget and business plan development
~ Excellent computer skills
