With a wide range of products including meats, fruits, jams, juices, canned fava beans, tomatoes, purees & concentrates, and cold cut products, Great Foods is a leader in the food industry.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Retail Sales Manager at Great Foods. The Retail Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of retail sales operations, sales, and ensuring a positive customer experience. They will also be responsible for creating and implementing strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive retail sales strategy to establish our presence in the UK market.
  • Identify and secure retail locations in key areas to maximize brand & private label visibility and sales potential.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute effective promotional campaigns and events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all local regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management.

Qualifications

  • Retail Sales and Sales skills
  • Proven experience as a Retail Sales Manager preferable with a new market entry
  • Ability to work independantly and make strategic decisions
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Experience in customer experience management
  • 7 years of Experience in retail sales for CPG companies
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
