Senior Traffic Engineer

Reporting into the Contracts Manager, you will be supporting the Traffic Signal maintenance contracts within our Asset Management division. The role is to carry out maintenance of traffic signals and associated equipment. Additional duties may include configuration and commissioning of traffic signal equipment.

What you'll do:

Attend reactive faults as required by the contract
Carry out testing of signal equipment
Install cables and joints
Wire cables at top caps and controllers to an agreed specification
Carry out on site risk assessments and follow method statements
Attend Team brief / Toolbox talks as required
Ensure test equipment, PPE and Vehicle are all compliant with up-to-date certification as required.
Who you are:

You will have previous experience in a similar role ideally with a background in Traffic Signals, however we would also consider candidates with an electronics/electrical background.

Key requirements:

Fully accredited sector 8
Full Driving Licence
Strong communication skills alongside a customer focused attitude are essential.
