What will you be doing?
As an International Business Development Manager, your duties and responsibilities will be (but not limited to):
- Supporting opportunities building and maintaining strong long-term relationships with customers.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential international markets and assess their viability.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activities and customer needs to develop robust market entry strategies.
- Devise robust business development strategies to maximise sales opportunities in target markets.
- Deliver growth targets that are driven by business plans aligned and relevant to customers and business priorities.
- Negotiate and close partnership agreements to expand the organisation's footprint in targeted international regions.
- Provide regular updates and insights to senior management on market conditions, challenges, and opportunities.
About you...
The successful candidate will need to meet the following essential criteria:
- Willing to travel for around 40 weeks per annum.
- Educated to Level 5 or above.
- Sales or associated qualification at Level 3.
- Experience of selling international services to employers.
- At least 10 years' experience of selling skills and qualifications.
- Experience of working in education or related discipline.
- Knowledge of construction, engineering, and energies.
- Experience of cross selling.
- Recent experience of account management.
- Experience of learning, coaching, and managing people.
