What will you be doing?

As an International Business Development Manager, your duties and responsibilities will be (but not limited to):

  • Supporting opportunities building and maintaining strong long-term relationships with customers.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential international markets and assess their viability.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities and customer needs to develop robust market entry strategies.
  • Devise robust business development strategies to maximise sales opportunities in target markets.
  • Deliver growth targets that are driven by business plans aligned and relevant to customers and business priorities.
  • Negotiate and close partnership agreements to expand the organisation's footprint in targeted international regions.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to senior management on market conditions, challenges, and opportunities.

About you...

The successful candidate will need to meet the following essential criteria:

  • Willing to travel for around 40 weeks per annum.
  • Educated to Level 5 or above.
  • Sales or associated qualification at Level 3.
  • Experience of selling international services to employers.
  • At least 10 years' experience of selling skills and qualifications.
  • Experience of working in education or related discipline.
  • Knowledge of construction, engineering, and energies.
  • Experience of cross selling.
  • Recent experience of account management.
  • Experience of learning, coaching, and managing people.
