As a Contract Manager your main responsibility is to effectively draft, negotiate and manage the contracts between the company and Clients; minimising business risks, ensuring compliance, and supporting the overall success of the organisation's business relationships.
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining good relations with our customers while collaborating with your internal stakeholders from the projects, business development and design teams.
Identify and assess potential risks in contract terms and conditions.
Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to protect the company’s interests.
Act as the primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries and issues.
Address and resolve any disputes or conflicts arising from contract execution.
Monitor the performance of contracts to ensure milestones and deliverables are met.
Implement tracking systems to measure contract performance and identify areas for improvement.
Prepare and present regular reports on contract status, performance metrics, and key issues.
Provide insights and recommendations for optimising contract management processes.
Monitor contract budgets and expenditures to ensure cost control and financial efficiency.
Document and standardise contract management procedures across the business.
Provide strategic insights to senior management on contract opportunities and risks.
Collaborate with the business development team to support the acquisition of new clients and projects.
Ensure accurate and timely billing and revenue recognition in accordance with contract terms.
Compliance Rate: Percentage of contracts that comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
Percentage of contract deliverables completed within the agreed timeframe and scope.
Accuracy and timeliness of billing and revenue recognition.
Risk Mitigation: Number and severity of risks identified and mitigated successfully.
Feedback from clients, suppliers, and internal teams on the quality of relationship management.
Demonstrable experience in effective contract preparation, negotiation and administration, preferably within the oil and gas industry, energy or manufacturing sectors.
Demonstrated success in managing complex contracts and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Strong understanding of legal terminology and principles related to contracts.
Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Experience in risk assessment and mitigation strategies within contract management.
Ability to bring innovative ideas to the contract management process to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Ability to identify potential contract issues and implement proactive solutions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex contract terms and conditions.
Strong research skills and an in-depth understanding of financial analytics and legal agreements.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy in contract documentation and reporting.
Exceptional experience using MS Office packages

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Engineering, or a related field.
Professional certifications in contract management (e.g., Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM), Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM)) are highly desirable.
