A leading facilities maintenance contractor is seeking an experienced Facilities Contracts Manager with a background in hard services to manage a large commercial site in Reading.
We are looking for a proactive and highly organized Contract Manager to take charge of all aspects of contract management within the facilities maintenance sector. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the successful delivery of services, maintaining strong client relationships, and optimizing contract performance. If you have a solid background in facilities management and contract administration, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage facilities management contracts, ensuring they meet all terms and conditions.
- Oversee the full contract lifecycle, from negotiation to closure.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, meeting their needs and expectations.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth contract execution.
- Monitor service performance, address issues, and improve processes.
- Conduct regular contract reviews and report to senior management.
- Negotiate contract renewals and changes as needed.
- Ensure contracts comply with legal and regulatory standards.
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in Facilities Maintenance, focusing on contract management.
- Technical qualifications in electrical or mechanical fields.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in contract management software and Microsoft Office.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.
