Our client, a standout engineering and business consultancy services business is seeking an Internal Engagement Officer to join their internal communication team for a 6 month contract on a hybrid basis.

As Internal Engagement Officer your responsibilities include:

  • Working with the lead team to develop an internal communication plan to engage a team of 1700 professionals working across 25 offices in the UK, France, Germany, Middle East and India.
  • Working to embed the Sector wide Culture of Curiosity, Care, Courage and Community.
  • Supporting the organisation on in person Awards Event for approx. 150 people in March 2025
  • Managing Monthly Business Briefs including agenda items, presenter preparation and presentation material.
  • Driving traffic to Viva Engage and to the company's Internal Sharepoint Site.

About you:

  • You will have had previous experience of developing and executing an internal comms plan within a global business.
  • You will have an ability to quickly review internal communications and suggest the correct vehicle to deploy based on importance, relevance and applicability.
  • You will have a proven ability to increase engagement with a selected comms channel.
  • You will have an ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • You will have good knowledge of Microsoft Teams including scheduling and managing large sessions.
  • Experience of organising an in person live awards event would be preferred.

The role holder can be based out of multiple locations including Bristol, Epsom, Sheffield, Derby, Warrington, Manchester or Whitehaven.
