The ZBD app lets users jump into a universe of games and apps, connect with friends and earn Bitcoin while having fun. ZBD also empowers developers to embed bitcoin payments into video games and applications, such as podcasting and music streaming. ZBD’s unique proposition enables these partner developers to better monetise their games and apps by allowing users to receive micro-rewards for actions taken in the game or app. ZBD provides this functionality by leveraging Bitcoin and the Lightning Network protocol.
ZBD has big plans for the years ahead and is seeking an experienced VP of Sales to lead sales efforts in the industry. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in B2B sales within the video game industry, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills to build and manage a high-performing sales team. They will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, fostering key client relationships, and collaborating across departments to align sales objectives with overall business goals. The VP of Sales will play a crucial role in scaling ZBD's presence in the gaming and fintech sectors, leveraging their industry expertise to identify new opportunities and drive the company's success in a rapidly evolving market.
The business comprises almost 60 employees across business development, marketing, compliance, operations, technology, customer success, and customer support from Los Angeles to New York, London, Amsterdam, and São Paulo.
ZBD is a fully remote company. We hire, retain, and develop the best talent from around the world, wherever s/he/they may choose to live. As a result, every member of the ZBD team must demonstrate an ability to work independently and thrive in a remote environment.
Prospect new clients in order to build a robust sales pipeline and close new commercial deals enabling you and your team to hit key sales metrics.
Support the development and tailoring of sales materials to each customer segment and/or prospective client.
Engage with key stakeholders across the video game and payments industries and effectively communicate the value proposition of ZBD’s products and services.
Critically leverage internal and industry data to drive new business and communicate observations internally.
Build an excelling ZBD’s sales team that will be an extension of your enthusiasm and drive to generate new business for the company.
10+ years experience in Sales selling B2B solutions to Video Games customers, including in PC/Console and related to game commerce and monetization.
~5+ years of experience building high-performing sales teams in a high-growth environment.
~ Demonstrable experience building a sales pipeline, pitching to prospective clients, and exceeding sales targets.
~ Detailed understanding of the Video Games industry landscape, including demographics, core segments, operating metrics, and key players.
~ Ability to think holistically about clients’ own go-to-market and management of that process.

Comfortable working in a fully-remote organization, with an emphasis on written and verbal communication.
Familiarity with Bitcoin and the Lightning Network desirable but not necessary.
