This commitment presents a fascinating career opportunity for individuals passionate about cyber security and interested in making a significant impact in the financial sector. The following responsibilities outline the key areas where you will contribute to our client's cyber security strategy and operations:
Reporting to the head of IT infrastructure, you would:
Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade security measures to protect data, systems, and networks, ensuring protection from malware and viruses, identifying threats and areas for security improvement.
Respond to all system and/or network security breaches, investigate, and implement solid incident response plans, learning from past shortcomings to create more robust security protocols.
Conduct scans to identify network and system vulnerabilities, creating resolution plans for any issues.
Routinely conduct penetration testing, manage timely resolution of results, and communicate progress to key stakeholders.
Lead colleague engagement in cyber security through user training
Provide third-line support of the IT cyber infrastructure, with first and second line support during busy times or to cover colleague absences.
Assist with regular disaster recovery testing of IT infrastructure, configuring cyberspecific components of the disaster recovery plan.
