Role: Underwriting Portfolio Analyst Join my client as a Portfolio Management Specialist and play a pivotal role in helping to drive their underwriting strategy, aligning it with business goals and risk appetite. You'll bridge the gap between underwriting and actuarial teams, ensuring the portfolio thrives in both the short and long term.

Implement and maintain a suite of portfolio management tools (WTW Radar, Power BI) to visualise and monitor performance, identifying risks and opportunities.
Data-Driven Insights: Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover trends and inform strategic decisions, influencing stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
Provide critical input on underwriting, risk management, and disaster scenario modeling, ensuring the portfolio aligns with the risk appetite.
KPI Monitoring: Track and report key performance indicators for senior management and capital providers.
Culture Building: Foster a data-driven culture, driving the adoption of analytics tools across teams.

A curious, analytical thinker with a passion for data-driven decision-making. You thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy solving complex problems to optimize portfolio performance.

Proficiency in Excel and data visualisation tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Qliksense).
Excellent communication and data storytelling skills.

Programming knowledge (Python, R, SQL).
Experience in predictive analytics and data governance.

Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, actuarial science, data science, or related field.
