Strategic Planning Manager

We are currently looking for a Strategic Trend Manager for our client, a non-profit organisation that facilitates funding to UK-based research and development projects developing net-zero emission technologies. The successful candidate will bring market intelligence, supply chain and automotive demand and requirements together to support the team develop a strategic intervention plan.

Identify key strategic R&D and capital linkages to highlight investments that helps secure a competitive long-term automotive supply chain.
Maintain effective and close working relationships with potential investors as well as UK based suppliers and buyers to attract further investments into the UK strengthening the automotive supply chain.
Deliver high-quality market and technology insights from the technology trends team across a wide range of automotive topics to inform and drive strategic decision making.
Commission and manage external consultancies for specific projects.

Proven experience in market intelligence, strategic planning, and stakeholder management within the automotive industry.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and mentor team members.
