We are currently looking for a Automotive Technology Strategic Trends Manager for our client, a non-profit organisation that facilitates funding to UK-based research and development projects developing net-zero emission technologies.
The Strategic Trend Manager will:
- With a broad knowledge of future automotive technology areas (EV, Hydrogen, Battery Materials, etc) deliver future road-mapping on automotive investment strategy.
- Make key strategic R&D and capital linkages to highlight investments that helps secure a competitive long-term automotive supply chain.
- Effective and close working relationships with potential investors as well as UK based suppliers and buyers to attract further investments into the UK strengthening the automotive supply chain.
- Represent the company at public speaking events.
- High-quality market and technology insights from the technology trends team across a wide range of automotive topics to inform and drive strategic decision making.
- Manage external consultancies for specific projects.
The Strategic Trend Manager will have:
- Possess high level knowledge and interest in the future automotive technology areas (EV, Hydrogen, Battery Materials, etc)
- Possess highly analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
