An established leading provider of printed materials, serving a diverse group of clients that prides itself on delivering exceptional customer service and achieving business objectives through strategic account management.
As an Account Director, you will have P&L responsibility, lead and motivate a team of high-performing Account Managers. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the printed materials requirements for clients by understanding strategies and challenges, you’ll ensure seamless delivery and exceptional service.
Your responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Set goals and objectives for your team, aligning them with the business objectives.
- Budget Planning: Develop budgets and allocate resources effectively for account management activities.
- Performance Management: Provide feedback, counsel, and performance evaluations to account staff, ensuring they meet quotas and objectives.
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the main point of contact for clients within your portfolio.
- Solution-Oriented Approach: Understand client requirements and offer suitable solutions, generating new business opportunities.
- Timely Delivery: Ensure services and products are delivered to clients on schedule.
- Issue Resolution: Address client concerns promptly to maintain trust and strengthen relationships.
- Reporting: Communicate quarterly and annual progress to senior management and external stakeholders.
Requirements for your application to be successful:
- Experience: Proven track record as an Account Director or in a similar role within print manufacturing or print management.
- Negotiation Skills: Demonstrable experience in negotiating and meeting client requirements.
- Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of budgeting and progress reporting.
- Performance Metrics: Knowledge of performance evaluation techniques and metrics.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Leadership: Outstanding organisational and leadership skills.
