Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Technical Sales Support Engineer at Atritor Limited in Coventry.

The Technical Sales Support Engineer will be tasked with developing an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the Atritor equipment and processes offered, our Customers' processes and requirements and the company sales procedures.

The Technical Sales Support Engineer shall be required to:

  • Assist with the sizing of bespoke process solutions
  • Prepare both Technical & Commercial Quotations, using in house templates, pricing tools and dealing with sub-suppliers
  • Maintain enquiry records
  • Participate in Trials and Testing for prospective Clients (carried out on site in the Atritor Pilot Plant)
  • Produce preliminary Process Flow Diagrams (PFD's) and provisional sales Layout Drawings to accompany quotations, using 2D and 3D drawing software.

The role is offered with the potential for the successful candidate to develop into a Technical Sales Engineer; dealing with both internal and external sales activities.


Experience

  • Previous experience working in a sales team, sizing systems and preparing tenders is ideal.
  • Experience in a materials processing related industry and or role; e.g. bulk material handling is a plus
  • A minimum of 2 to 3 years experience in the above areas is essential
  • Some experience in / using Thermodynamics is advantageous
  • Experience using professional social media, e.g. LinkedIn


Qualifications

  • A degree in an engineering subject or other relevant qualification is required
  • Maths and or Science at A-Level and GCSE or equivalent qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
