My client is a global Beauty business who is a leader in their sector, who are going through a period of global growth. The business is now looking to bring on a Senior Account Manager to work within the UK team.

The role

As the Senior Account Manager you will report directly into the UK Sales Director and will be responsible for a mix of Grocery and discount retail accounts. It will be your responsibility to promote the company brand and be the first point of contact within your accounts. The role will require you to travel to these customers and work with them on JBP's.

Key responsibilities

  • Directly oversee and be responsible for the growth of your accounts
  • Responsible for the sales budget
  • Proactively lead, manage, and execute the entire sales life cycle from introduction to first product delivery
  • Lead and deliver sales presentations to decision-makers
  • Manage and negotiate joint business plans with your accounts
  • Be the ambassador of the company within your accounts
  • Keep abreast of what the competition are doing

Ideal Candidate

You will already be a successful Account Manager working for private label business and have experience working with Grocery/ discount accounts. You will be confident and comfortable managing and collaborating with cross functional teams of experts. You must be able to work within a fast-paced changing environment; and have the ability to build strong business and personal relationships; whilst developing and implementing creative, sustainable, mutually profitable business solutions

Key responsibilities

  • Private Label consumer goods experience is an advantage, as well as experience managing Grocery accounts.
  • Demonstrate account growth within your current job role.
  • Strong relationship builder
  • Highly organised in follow up & planning
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent numerical skills, proficient use of Power point, Google Suite & Excel
  • Highly motivated
  • Highly recommended by their buyers

  • Ability to manage account P&L, including marketing and promotional budgets.
