Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and manage fire alarm installation projects from inception to completion.
- Provide technical support and guidance to installation teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is carried out to the highest standards and in accordance with project specifications.
- Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring projects are delivered within financial constraints.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
- Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and safety records.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers and installation teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
- In-depth experience in fire alarm installation and associated equipment, including addressable, conventional, and 2-wire systems.
- Commissioning experience.
- Willingness to travel and occasionally stay away when required.
- Up-to-date with current standard BS5839 Pt 1 & Pt 6 is desired.
- FIA qualification is desired but not essential.
- ECS / JIB Gold Card desirable.
- Experience with Ziton, Kentec, Morley, and Aico Part 6 systems.
- Full UK Clean Driving License.
- A good level of IT literacy.
- Understanding of Health and Safety Regulations within the workplace.
