Job Title: Fire Alarm Service

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Service professional to join our team at H&K Fire Engineering. As a Fire Alarm Service professional, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and technical support of fire alarm systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting regular servicing and maintenance of fire alarm systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting for fire alarm systems, including commissioning and handover to clients.
  • Working closely with project delivery teams to integrate fire alarm systems on projects.
  • Performing surveys and supporting on quotes and design of systems.
  • Conducting fire inspections and maintaining equipment required for these inspections.
  • Providing a professional service at all times, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail, quality, and customer service.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in fire alarm systems maintenance, gained over a number of years.
  • FIA or equivalent training is highly desirable.
  • Hold a full UK Driving Licence.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate with a range of customers, clients, and internal colleagues.
  • Reliability and punctuality qualities are essential to this role.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary range, negotiable depending on experience.
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, with option to buy 5 days and sell 2 days.

  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30pm, with call out rota and standby rates.
