Our client is a real estate finance consultancy based in London. They specialise in a wide range of funding mandates for corporate property investors and developers across the UK and Western Europe. Their team creates innovative financial solutions, including short-term finance, senior debt, mezzanine finance, and joint venture equity, tailored to various real estate projects. By leveraging bespoke, data-driven analysis, they provide top-notch advisory services.


The Role


The Business Development Associate Director will bring strong technical skills and an established network of real estate business relationships.

In collaboration with our directors, the candidate will manage client mandates in the debt and equity space, understanding clients’ business plans and primary objectives. They will design innovative financial solutions and play a strategic role in the growth of client businesses. You’ll be joining a high-performing team with diverse professional backgrounds.


Responsibilities


  • Independently source and manage new funding mandates.
  • Refine clients’ business plans, structure proposals, and secure market-leading terms.
  • Manage multiple transactions from inception to completion.
  • Enhance market presence and product knowledge alongside the company’s directors.
  • Represent in market interactions with lending partners, investors, and other professionals.
  • Attend networking events to promote market presence.
  • Uphold core values of teamwork, inclusivity, professionalism, and excellent service.


Requirements


  • Established network of contacts in the real estate sector.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in real estate, finance, law, or a related field involving real estate professionals.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering projects.
  • Undergraduate or postgraduate degree, with proficiency in Excel and MS Office. Familiarity with internal CRM systems is a plus.
  • Highly organised, enthusiastic, resilient, competitive, and quick to absorb details.
  • Excellent communication skills and a consultative approach.
  • Ability to think laterally and adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
  • Passion for working as part of an ambitious and cohesive team.
