COMMERCIAL DEPARTMENT

This newly created position will be responsible for delivering and overseeing the contractual obligations of our partners. The role will also involve managing innovative, creative, multi-year, high-value sponsorship and partner packages for blue-chip corporate clients.

This role sits within the partnerships team but requires a collaborative approach to working due to the number of departments required to deliver to the expected levels.


JOB PURPOSE

To provide essential support to the Partnerships Team, ensuring the timely and effective delivery of partnership rights and activations. This role will involve coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, administrative tasks necessary for the function and responsible for rights fulfilment.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Rights Fulfilment: Manage the fulfilment of our contractual obligations.
  • Account Management: Assist in managing existing partner relationships, including partner meetings, planning and executing deliverables
  • Stakeholder Management: Liaise with relevant departments (e.g., marketing, sales, events) to champion the partner requirements and ensure the smooth delivery of partnership rights.
  • Administrative Responsibilities : responsible for administrative requirements relating to the partnerships department
  • Budget: Management of partnerships budget in some areas


TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Revenue: Drive revenue for the business through meaningful partnerships
  • Rights Delivery: Ensuring best in class rights delivery for all partners
  • Relationships: Create and nurture relationships to ensure they remain fruitful for all
  • Recruitment: Work with the Head of Partnerships to identify, pursue and secure strategic partnerships to enhance the visibility and profitability of Silverstone.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (e.g., marketing, sales, events) to ensure the successful execution of partnership initiatives.
  • Rights Holder Relationships: Liaising with key Rights Holders, for example Formula One Management & Dorna, to ensure smooth delivery of events and activations

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS


  • Proven experience in sports sponsorship account management or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Basis design skills desirable
  • Knowledge of motorsport or a related industry is desirable.
