Your Mission 💪
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our Marketing team and work closely with the Head of Marketing to develop and execute our events strategy. This comprehensive role involves managing all aspects of external events, from initial research to post-event review. Key responsibilities include planning, budgeting, handling logistics, coordinating internal and external marketing and communications, as well as conducting pre and post-event reporting and follow-ups.

As part of our Marketing team, you will collaborate closely with the Head of Marketing to spearhead our events strategy, playing a crucial role in enhancing our brand visibility and lead generation. Your efforts in planning, coordinating, and executing all aspects of our external events will directly contribute to boxxe's growth and success in the market.
What you’ll be doing 🎯
- Serve as the first point of contact for all events
- Work with Marketing, Partner, and Sales teams to develop and manage events that enhance brand awareness and generate leads
- Recommend annual events to attend and exhibit at, based on performance insights and alignment with company focus areas
- Liaise with vendors, speakers, and delegates to ensure event requirements are clearly communicated and met
- Create detailed plans for each event, including sales, marketing, and contact strategies; conduct regular update meetings
- Develop individual event budgets; monitor and control finances to maximize profits
- Collaborate with the marketing team to produce event materials such as stands, collateral, videos, and merchandise, ensuring budget adherence
- Promote events both internally and externally
- Analyse event feedback and financial performance to improve future events
- Handle all event-related administration, including invoice management, funding requests, and logistics coordination
- Be present on-site before, during, and after events to ensure they run smoothly
What experience we think you’ll need 🚀
- Prior experience in planning and organizing events at a managerial level in a dynamic environment, achieving brand and lead generation targets with a positive ROI
- Must be proactive and able to motivate oneself, with excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills
- Requires professional experience in a previous event management role
- Should be creative, energetic, and focused on achieving measurable results
- Enjoys working collaboratively with a broad team to drive company growth
- A genuine self-starter who can manage and prioritize their own workload effectively
- Experience dealing with a wide range of stakeholders at various levels
- Must have a keen eye for detail and design
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain very high standards
- Capable of managing and prioritizing project-based workloads
- Understanding of content management and CRM systems is preferable
