Castletown Law is a specialist law firm, working on projects internationally with a focus on Energy, Infrastructure, Aviation and Defence.

The ethos of Castletown Law is to provide quality legal advice and support to the valued clients who have established relationships with our people over many years.

Our practice has grown over the past 5 years and as we begin the next period of the firm’s evolution, there is a need for further resource, support and succession planning for the future of the firm.

We aspire to be the long-term relationship firm for all the clients we work with and to establish ourselves as one of the go to firms in the areas we specialise in. This is reflected in recent additions to our client list in our specialist areas. Our people are knowledgeable about the sectors we work in and interested in helping our clients succeed in those sectors. Innovative thinking and entrepreneurship are important attributes for the people in our team.

HOW WE WORK


Our lawyers understand and enjoy the challenges that being a lawyer in major projects or in innovative technologies provide.

Our approach is to use senior lawyers with a broad training background who can identify adjacent issues and apply a commercial and pragmatic approach.

We have no fixed working hours or locations. Our offices are in Edinburgh and London and our team can work either from our offices or remotely.

All of our legal advisors are self-employed and all have an ethos of delivery of legal advice as a service to our clients.


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR


We are looking for a commercial lawyer who has the ability to work across the sectors we focus on and able to support clients on heavy industry, energy and construction and engineering projects.  

We envisage this role forming party of the firm’s succession planning with the potential for the successful candidate assuming responsibility over time in advising and managing the relationships with our principal’s client base.
