Position Summary

We are hiring an Early Years Apprenticeship Business Development Manager for a remote contract role. In this position, you will be crucial in expanding our apprenticeship program through strategic partnerships with employers. Responsibilities include identifying new placement opportunities, cultivating relationships with partners, and guiding learners toward successful career paths in nursery and school settings. As this is a new role in our organisation, we seek an experienced individual with an innovative mindset to establish effective processes and procedures.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Apprentice Support: Prepare and support apprentice applicants to successfully secure subsequent vacancies and ensure a smooth entry into the workplace.
  • Apprentice Management: Conduct initial interviews and screenings and provide effective information, advice, and guidance to candidates to support decision-making about the right apprenticeship.
  • Contacting Potential Employers: Reach out to potential employers in the area of apprenticeships, effectively communicating the skills and strengths of our learners.
  • Employer Communication: Communicate effectively with employers throughout the recruitment process, providing updates, discussing candidates, arranging interviews, and confirming interview outcomes.
  • Creating Database Lists: Create and update databases and lists of learners seeking placements, ensuring accuracy and relevance and regularly sharing this information with potential employers.
  • Vacancy Advertising: Utilize all available avenues, including technology and social media, to advertise apprenticeship vacancies for employers and remain proactive in innovative approaches.
  • Database Management: Use a database to manage and match the suitable candidates to


Skills required

  • Proven experience in business development, preferably in the early years
  • Strong knowledge of apprenticeship programmes and the relevant regulations and requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet targets


Qualification:

• GCSE Grade A-C in maths & English or equivalent.

• Administration/IT qualifications at Level 2 or equivalent.

• A higher-level qualification ( level 4 and above)
