Role Overview:
The chosen candidate will be instrumental in enhancing procurement processes, ensuring compliance, and leading a dynamic team towards achieving strategic procurement goals. This role includes a blend of strategic oversight and operational management, with a focus on high-level performance and innovation in procurement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine a long-term procurement strategy aligned with organisational goals.
- Oversee all procurement activities ensuring compliance, quality, and efficiency.
- Coordinate with key internal and external stakeholders to optimise procurement processes.
- Spearhead the management of procurement systems and supplier relationships.
- Lead, mentor, and build capabilities within the procurement team.
What We’re Looking For:
- A seasoned Procurement Professional with a strong public sector construction and maintenance background.
- An exceptional leader with proven experience successfully managing teams.
- Robust experience in regulatory compliance, managing complex projects, and enhancing multi-user frameworks.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a proven track record of driving team success in procurement operations.
- MCIPS or FCIPS qualification, with a degree-level education preferred.
