We have a great opportunity for an experienced Executive Legal PA / Senior Legal Secretary, with experience managing and coordinating a secretarial team, to join a leading City law firm on a 9 month FTC.


The Executive Legal PA / Senior Legal Secretary will support busy fee earners, whilst also managing and coordinating a team of legal secretaries who support certain practice areas.


In a nutshell: We’re looking for a highly Legal PA / Senior Legal Secretary who is available imminently and able to commit to a 9 month FTC. Experience of managing and coordinating a team of legal secretaries is required.

Key responsibilities as the Legal PA / Secretarial Coordinator will include:


  • Coordinating fee-earners’ secretarial and administrative needs
  • Making decisions on workload and delegating to other support services as required
  • Reviewing secretarial allocations and identifying resourcing and recruitment needs
  • Conducting regular review meetings
  • Proactively managing absence or performance issues with the support of HRBPs
  • Providing high level of Legal PA support to busy fee-earners
  • Coordinating internal and external meetings and maintaining diaries
  • Coordinating billing / credit control and accounting matters relating to clients
  • Assisting in the production of materials for management meetings
  • Assisting with marketing activities as required

What we’re looking for:


  • Extensive Legal PA / Legal Secretary experience (min. 5 years legal secretary experience)
  • Experience managing and coordinating a busy secretarial team
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills with an ability to communicate at all levels effectively
  • Impeccable organisation and attention to detail
  • IT literate including MS Office (essential) and database management
  • Professional, proactive, creative and enthusiastic team player
  • Available imminently
  • Ability to commit to a 9 month FTC
