An award-winning city law firm, are now looking for an experienced Legal PA to join their investment team, supporting Partners and Senior Associates. The successful Legal PA will be an integral part of the team, providing high quality support to both fee earners and clients. This is a small and tight knit team, therefore the successful Legal PA will have ample opportunity to work closely with those they are supporting in an involved role.


Legal PA Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactive and busy diary and inbox management
  • Meeting organisation – booking meeting rooms, confirming attendees, ensuring refreshments are in place, and preparation of any documentation required
  • Acting as a gatekeeper to fee earners
  • Liaising closely with other teams within the firm and delegating work appropriately when needed, overseeing and taking responsibility until completion
  • Travel arrangements, to include international – visa applications, accommodation, currency and creating itineraries etc
  • Processing expenses
  • Supporting with marketing and business development – creating pitches and slides and ensuring the client database is kept up to date
  • Working closely with fee earners clients, building relationships and assisting with any general queries
  • Assisting fee earners with billing and time recording
  • Document production and formatting to house style
  • Working closely and covering other PAs within the team to ensure a seamless support system
  • General ad hoc administrative duties


Legal PA Key Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in a similar Legal Secretarial/ Legal PA/ Legal EA position within a law firm supporting at Partner/ Senior Partner level
  • Excellent IT skills – Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Proactive and highly organised with the ability to work to deadlines
  • A strong communicator, with the ability to work as part of a team and liaise with and build trust with those at all levels
