Quality Assurance Engineer – Digital Banking - Brighton - 6 month contract


We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a top global IT services provider, who is looking to bring on board a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join their Digital Banking division. The client is developing an advanced banking platform aimed at speeding up the creation and scaling of digital products while delivering top-tier user experiences.


In this role, you'll play a critical part in upholding the high-quality standards of this innovative platform, ensuring smooth and efficient developer workflows. You'll collaborate closely with Engineering and Product teams, supporting the full product lifecycle and ensuring high-performance, reliable delivery.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Design, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans.
  • Provide in-depth QA support to the Engineering and Product teams.
  • Clearly communicate progress, findings, and any concerns regarding QA processes.
  • Conduct thorough testing in diverse environments to identify issues.
  • Produce clear, concise documentation for internal and external use.
  • Spot and resolve potential issues early to prevent product disruptions.


Required Skills:


  • Solid experience in developing and running test plans.
  • Strong understanding of Continuous Integration practices.
  • Hands-on experience with QA tools like Cypress, Jest, JUnit, kotlin.test, and JMeter.
  • Familiarity with Agile QA workflows and best practices.
