Insight Investment are seeking a Business Development Associate to focus on maximising business development opportunities via BNY sales channels in EMEA and effectively implementing the business development strategy.
Role Responsibilities
Business Development
- Meaningfully contribute to the business development objective of the BNY EMEA distribution channel.
- Work closely with BNY EMEA sales on the creation of new business opportunities and building Insight’s profile with prospects. Respond to BNY client requests promptly and accurately and approach all challenges in a client centric manner.
- Take the lead from an Insight perspective on the progression of those opportunities, pitch preparation and execution.
- Record prospecting activity: opportunities created and pipeline progression.
- Assist BNY sales in responding to requests promptly and accurately and approach all challenges in a client centric manner.
- Meaningfully contribute to the development of the product strategy that is relevant for the BNY EMEA distribution business.
BNY Relationship Management
- Build strong and productive relationships with BNY EMEA key sales and marketing contacts through active engagement.
- Work closely with the Insight support team on equipping BNY sales teams to effectively represent Insight capabilities and support commercial efforts in organising on‐site client and prospects visits.
Experience Required
- Relevant experience in business development managing direct client relationships.
- Excellent communication skills; highly articulate and able to tailor style as appropriate.
- Collaborative working style: demonstrable desire to generate and develop ideas with a wide range of colleagues across the organisation.
- A will to win and an innate drive to act in an increasingly competitive environment.
- European languages preferred but not essential.
