Leading London Law Firm Seeks Private Equity Associate - Secondaries

A prestigious London-based international law firm is seeking an exceptional Private Equity Associate to join its thriving Funds & Secondaries team. Our client, known for its excellence in the field, is looking to expand its fast-growing Private Equity Group.


Private Equity Associate Key Responsibilities:

  • Focus on complex continuation vehicle secondaries transactions
  • Draft and negotiate fund documentation
  • Conduct legal research using internal and external resources
  • Develop networks of internal and external contacts
  • Build excellent working relationships with clients
  • Participate in business development and profile-raising events
  • Support the growth of the Private Equity Group
  • Opportunity to work across a range of PE matters from fund formation to transactions


The Ideal Candidate for the Private Equity Associate - Secondaries role will have:

  • 3-5 years PQE in private equity transactional work
  • Experience in private company M&A, ideally with exposure to secondaries transactions
  • Strong academic and professional qualifications
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in an ambitious, entrepreneurial team
  • Keen interest in business development and client relationships
  • Collaborative approach and excellent communication skills
  • Desire to take on early responsibility and grow with the practice
