Laura Proctor is hiring a Trade Marketing Manager. This person will be the key contact for our retailer accounts across the globe such as Boots, Look Fantastic and Sephora, driving their marketing activity and supporting the growth of these retailer partnerships. This person will work closely with the Sales Team to support the success of these partnerships.


This is a permanent full-time role, based at the Harrogate HQ. Flexibility will be provided to accommodate any regular early and late working hours, if required.



Main Duties

  • To deliver high quality creative solutions, whilst taking a leading role in the guardianship of our brand.
  • Be the key point of contact to our retailers, where you will build direct relationships and drive their marketing activity, supporting the growth of these accounts.
  • Liaise between the Sales and Marketing teams, ensuring objectives, activations, schedules and budgets are aligned. You will be the go-to person to support these partnerships.
  • As well as supporting existing retailers, you will also play a key role in the onboarding of new retailers.
  • Drive extra added value opportunities, for both CLOUD NINE & the retail partners
  • Interpret and develop briefs alongside the Marketing team and be able to present these ideas to internal and external stakeholders in a thoughtful and articulate manner.
  • Work closely with the in-house creative team, ensuring the delivery and objectives are achieved.
  • Ensuring all campaigns flex cross-channel with consistency and are on-brand.
  • Drive integration across the business, ensuring that the retail activity is optimised across our D2C channels
  • Take a supporting role in the planning and execution of photoshoots, both in-house and external.
  • Be responsible for the planning and organising of any events for the retail partners
  • Liaise with external agencies and freelance resource, where appropriate.
  • Support the delivery of visual merchandise, instore activations, advertising and event programmes, maximising opportunities with our retailers.
  •  Attend meetings with and support our National Account Managers and external partners on a regular basis.
  • Own the reporting of marketing activity to senior management and provide monthly performance reports with our stakeholders & external partners.
  • To be an expert and have the passion for the CLOUD NINE brand, with an understanding of product range, USPs and hold a clear awareness and understanding of the wider industry and key competitors.
  • Occasional early/late calls and meetings may be required for supporting our Australian and New Zealand retailers.



Desired Skills and Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Retailer Marketing is needed.
  • Solid understanding of the Marketing landscape, along with knowledge around social media marketing.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to handle crisis management and conflict resolution
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills, with the ability to build relationships both internally and externally.
  • Ability to work in line with trading schedules for both internal and National Account launches.
  • Excellent timekeeping, time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise the workload to ensure all tasks are carried out effectively and deadlines are met.
  • Commercially minded, with previous experience tracking and managing budgets.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Marketing degree or previous experience within the Hair & Beauty Industry is desired.
