About the Role:

The Purchase Ledger Admin will provide day-to-day support primarily to the Finance Department. The post-holder will report directly to the Finance Manager.

Within the above commitment you are responsible for the part of our delivery that includes:

  • Cross reference purchase orders to invoices
  • Liaise with suppliers and replying to emails
  • Filing, Photocopying, printing, and scanning
  • Support day-to-day office activities
  • Keeping track of stationary stock and ordering more as and when required
  • Dealing with post incoming and outgoing post
  • Supporting the Finance Manager with a range of administrative tasks.
  • Ad Hoc admin tasks when required


The above is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities and the jobholder will be expected to perform other tasks as required by his/her changing role within the Company and by the business needs of the Company.


Technical Skills and Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Office Suite including SharePoint
  • Good level of GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent
  • A clear understanding of working with confidential and sensitive information
  • Ability to prioritise, work accurately and efficiently
  • Must be planned and organised and able to work with regularly changing priorities and timescales
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • The confidence to communicate with all levels of seniority
  • Organised and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and time –management skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent numerical skills
  • Proactive and organised with a strong attention to detail
  • Have a ‘hands on’ approach to work


Experience:

  • Of working within an SME Company
  • Previous experience using Microsoft Office would be great. But not essential as the company will provide training on how to use this accounts system.
