Looking to join one of the fastest growing companies in Europe? This is a newly created role will be supporting their European offices, primarily London with travel to Germany and Spain too.


Duration: 6 months

Rate: £220 per day (outside IR35)

Location: London (site based role with frequent travel)


Your role as Desktop Engineer

  • Provide expert-level support for desktop-related technologies within a Microsoft environment.
  • Manage and maintain Active Directory services, ensuring security and access controls are upheld.
  • Oversee Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions, ensuring devices are configured, secured, and compliant.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve desktop-related issues, both remotely and on-site, across various European offices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and support desktop-related projects and initiatives.
  • Assist in basic networking tasks such as troubleshooting connectivity issues and ensuring network integrity.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Desktop Engineer or similar role, with expertise in Microsoft technology stack.
  • Strong proficiency in Active Directory administration and management.
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions, such as Intune or AirWatch.
  • Solid understanding of basic networking principles and protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive and customer-centric approach.
  • Willingness to travel to European offices as needed (approximately 20% travel).
  • Experience working in a multinational or global organization.
  • Familiarity with ITIL best practices.
