Job Title: Azure Cloud Engineer


We are recruiting for a well-established company looking for a junior to mid-level Azure Cloud Engineer with a solid foundation in infrastructure, particularly in networking and security (such as firewalls), who has recently moved into or is looking to move into architecture. This role is ideal for someone passionate about cloud architecture, focusing on designing, implementing, and managing robust Azure-based solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cloud solutions on the Azure platform.
  • Create technical diagrams, architecture designs, and related documentation.
  • Collaborate with various teams to build efficient and scalable systems.
  • Conduct architecture reviews to ensure solutions align with business objectives.
  • Oversee cloud governance, security practices, and cost management.
  • Stay up to date with new cloud technologies and best practices.


What We're Looking For:

  • Experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer or in a similar capacity.
  • Strong infrastructure background with expertise in networking and security (e.g., firewalls).
  • Experience transitioning into architecture roles, including producing technical designs and documentation, or a strong interest in architecture supported by relevant qualifications and certifications.
  • Proficiency with Azure tools, scripting (PowerShell, Azure CLI), and infrastructure-as-code (ARM templates, Terraform).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator).
  • TOGAF certification is a plus, but training will be provided for the right candidates.
  • Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Google Cloud) is advantageous.
